Levels of Educations
Every country in the world emphasizes the importance of having good education among their citizens. With the good education, a country can rule the world and can be acknowledged as first-world country. Such countries are USA, UK, France, Russia and China. These 5 countries also are the holder of veto-power. Generally, there are 3 stages of education in a country which are primary, secondary and tertiary.
In Malaysia, primary school is for the students which ages from 7-12 years old. Education during this stage is very important because this is the time where the students start to learn from the basic. If they can do well through this stage, they will have no problems in continuing their study at the next level. At this level, students learn the process of reading, writing and counting and this process depends on their teachers to attract them so that they can learn well. Although there are no important exams during this stage, they still have to learn something good especially in terms of morality such as respecting the teachers, helping their friends and time management which can help them to go through the second stage that is more challenging.
Next, the secondary school is for the students from the ages of 13-17 years old. During this level, the learning process becomes quite challenging but still it can be deal with if the students able to manage their time properly. There are two important exams during this stage. First when the students are in Form 3. The results will determine whether the students can pursue their studies in Science Stream or Art Stream in the following year. Second one is when the students are in Form 5. The results achieved will be used to rank themselves in the whole country by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia so that they can enter to the university that they want to.
The last stage is the university level. Entering the university means that the students are qualified enough and they will be here for at least 4 years before going into the real world; struggling for the needs of life such as foods, house, car and money. Generally, if the students manage to enter a university, they will know to differentiate between the good things and the bad ones. But in some cases, there are still some students that cannot differentiate between the two. Maybe because of the cultural shock, they will study less and play more during the university life. Because of their parents are away from them, they will think that no one can stop them from doing something bad such as smoking and clubbing. Their parents are expecting themselves to be an engineer or a doctor but at the end, they receive a letter from university mentioning their beloved son has been expelled. The university life is the most crucial time for students. Whether you pass and become what you dream for or fail and end up embarrassing your parents in the home-town. This is the true story of the tertiary school in Malaysia.
In conclusion, education is important in our life. But it does not mean that if you fail your exam you will fail in your life too. As long as you want to be success in your life, do get a good education. Do remember that exam is just a ticket for you to be what you dream for. If you do not pass the exam, try it again and again until you manage to overcome it as failure is a part of the education system in the world.
